Hi everyone!

Thanks for joining our Traveling with Tots community!

For some of you, it might be a long time or the first time you’ve heard back from me. So, if you don’t remember signing up for Traveling With Tots, let me help refresh your memory regarding who I am and why I’m here. Even after that, if you feel that you don’t need to clutter your inbox with one more email, please unsubscribe. No hard feelings.

We’re Shaina and Sherezad, parents with a passion for exploring the world with our little kids. Our adventure began when we moved to Europe with our 9-month-old, and over five years in London and Amsterdam, we welcomed two more kids and visited 30+ countries as a family. Now back in the US and expecting baby #4, we’re excited to keep traveling - and to help you make your own family journeys smoother and more memorable.

Traveling with kids isn’t always easy, but making memories with our kids is always worth it. Through our experiences, we’ve gathered practical tips, honest advice, and favorite finds to help families like yours embrace the adventure-because life with kids should be full of discovery and joy.

Favorite Travel Gear

A lot of planning a successful trip goes back to packing the right gear - no over-packing or under-packing. One of our most frequently used items over the last 5 years has been our BabyZen YoYo Travel Stroller. It is lightweight and can be folded compactly to fit into the overhead bin of a plane. It has been to over two dozen countries with us, and hasn’t failed us yet!

We have a few other go-to items that have saved us during our trips. Here is our list of our favorite gear that we use while traveling with our 3 littles under 6

Greece this Summer?

If you’re dreaming of a summer escape, Greece tops our list for family-friendly fun. From ancient ruins in Athens to the beaches of Naxos and the iconic sunsets of Santorini, our kids loved this country. Here is a post with our favorite spots we visited in Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, and Crete.

Here is a sample itinerary of a two-week-trip to Greece with kids.

Travel Tip Feature: Family Photoshoots

An activity we started adding to our trip itineraries is a professional photoshoot. I love companies like Flytographer (Discount Code: SHAINAREHMANN) or more budget-friendly options on GetYourGuide by searching for “‘destination name’ photoshoot”.

For all the links and resources we generally use to book our photoshoots, including 17 actual photographers we’ve personally used, I compiled the following post here on booking a family photoshoot on your next trip.

What’s Next?

We recently took a 14-day adventure through Turkey, Spain (Madrid and Andalusia), and Portugal-pregnant and with three little explorers in tow! I am prepping all the content to share with everyone, because it was a magical trip that I would recommend to others.
