Amsterdam Activities - NEMO Science Museum: One of our kids favorite things to do in Amsterdam is to visit the NEMO Science Museum (@nemosciencemuseum).

There are a few key features:
⭐️Interactive exhibits that the kids can touch and play with
⭐️Cafe on the top level with child-friendly food
⭐️Much less busy during the weekdays compared to the weekends

Amsterdam Things To Do: One of our favorite things to do with our visitors, during warm weather, is to take a boat tour. Depending on the number of people in the group + availability, sometimes renting a private boat equals out to be a similar price point as a group tour. We recently had a great experience with BoatNow (@boat.now).

Amsterdam Activities: VondelPark (@vondelpark_amsterdam) is one of the prettiest parks in Amsterdam! It is full of ponds, bike trails, birds, green areas, play grounds, and a water fountain for kids to run through.

If you have little kids, simply coming here and letting them run around on the grass or the playground is a great way to let them enjoy and also tire them out.

My grad school BFF @aish_sal came to visit and so glad she did!!!

Maximizing a Trip: She did the perfect blend of having a flexible itinerary, where she booked a few of her prefered museums + relaxed/shopped/leisurely explored!

Overplanning can lead to stress, but I've noticed that finding the balance between a few booked activities and leisurely exploring is a key to maximizing a trip.

Amsterdam Activities: So much fun having our familia come visit, @rosierehmann and @jiggyfromatlanta 💗💗

A favorite activity to do with our guests is stroll around the Nine Streets (@9straatjes). The canals, the shops, and the cafes - its a very pleasant vibe!

That being said, it is not super stroller friendly (narrow sidewalks) and I wouldn’t feel comfortable with my toddlers walking here (lots of canals and bikes), so keep in mind when planning this outing!
